Medications for Opioid Use Disorder Save Lives
With support from the National Institute on Drug Abuse and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine convened an expert committee to examine the evidence base for medications to treat OUD and to identify barriers that prevent people from accessing safe, effective, medication-based treatment. The resulting report, Medications for Opioid Use Disorder Save Lives, presents the committee’s findings and conclusions.
NCDVTMH Online Repository of Trauma-Focused Interventions for Survivors of Intimate Partner Violence
For the Online Repository, the NCDVTMH selected an initial 10 models from a pool of published research on intimate partner violence for which there was high quality, good evidence and/or that were innovative and/or promising.
Substance Use Disorder Education in Medical Schools: A Scoping Review of the Literature
This scoping review aims to (1) provide a comprehensive evaluation and summation of peer-reviewed literature reporting on SUD education in medical schools globally, and (2) to appraise the research quality and educational outcomes reported in SUD education studies in medical schools.
