The Survey of Well-being of Young Children (SWYC) User’s Manual

The SWYC is a freely-available, comprehensive, first-level developmental-behavioral screening instrument for children under 5 ½ years of age. It was designed to be completed by parents or other caregivers in the context of pediatric primary care visits, but can also be used in other settings, such as early child care and education, home visiting, and preschools.

MAT Tools and Resources
