Fostering Resilience and Recovery:A Change Package for Advancing Trauma-Informed Primary Care
To better address trauma in primary care, Kaiser Permanente and the National Council for Behavioral Health (National Council) launched the Trauma-Informed Care Primary Care: Fostering Resilience and Recovery initiative to develop, test, disseminate and scale a field-informed Change Package.
Two NIH screening tools are available for use with adolescent patients (ages 12-17) in primary care settings: Brief Screener for Tobacco, Alcohol, and other Drugs (BSTAD) and Screening to Brief Intervention (S2BI).
